Lunar Love by Lauren Kung Jessen

This was a super cute book and a super quick read. I’ve been in a huge reading slump, but when I sat down to actually read this it went by pretty quickly.

The story kept me entertained. It’s definitely your typical chick-lit. I like both the main characters, Olivia and Bennett. I loved that this story takes place in the Los Angeles Chinatown. I was actually there this week and brought my book along.

There is no spice, just a sweet and simple romance. The story is predictable, but aren’t all chick-lit romances?

I know some people were annoyed by Olivia. I didn’t think she was too bad of a character. I’ve read that she was unlikeable. I didn’t feel that way. I just felt she was insecure about her personal decisions regarding love. She needed someone like Bennett to help her get over that insecurity!
